Some things to consider when planning your packaging and artwork…

FORMAT >

We print vinyl, CD and cassette sleeves - of course, you can have a mixture of all of those if you wish. We can work with standard pre-cut / pre-creased and already assembled sleeves and we can also custom cut, fold, glue, assemble in our studio. Often it’s a mixture of the two. It simply depends on your vision for your packaging.

< CARD STOCK

We keep a selection of recycled and sustainable card and paper in stock at the studio with many other colour and weight options available to order on demand, depending on the needs of the project.

PRINTING METHOD >

There are a variety of printing methods available to choose from. The most popular (and our speciality) is screen printing but we also offer risograph and digital options too. A combination is also possible!

< FINISHING TOUCHES & DETAILS

Here are a few ideas…
- inserts (credits / additional artwork etc)
- die cuts (removing parts of the packaging - ie cut a window so the credits card is visible inside)
- stitched vinyl sleeves (two separate square pieces of card stock sewn at the edges to create the sleeve)
- corner cuts (create a rounded finish, rather than the usual sharp edge)
- biodegradable cello bags
- printed outer plastic/cello sleeves
- outer shell printing for cassettes
- printing on cardboard mailers
- holographic or mirror card
- translucent paper / vellum
- box set options
- hotfoil (coming soon)

There are many, many more options here - if you have ideas just ask and we can also suggest some things that we think would work well.
